About the Author

Daniel Prior was born and raised around Nashville, TN. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Plant and Soil Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. His love of watching and seeing the growth in people and creation was engendered at a younger age as he helped manage a landscaping company. Even though he was a Christian from a young age, he was thrust into a deeper relationship with Jesus while encountering Christ in a most personal way in college. A disciple of Don Crossland for many years, an esteemed Father of the Faith, he was spurred on in his relationship with Jesus Christ ever coming more and more into communion with His Heavenly Father. He was then ordained into the Ministry at Melchizedek Christian Church in the year 2012.

His favorite author, G. K. Chesterton said, “The true object of all human life is play. Earth is a task garden; heaven is a playground.” This is exactly who Daniel is, realizing that a good farmer plants, watches, and harvests. But with all good work comes great play. The reality of heavenly things and the most important, the risen Christ, continues to be a fuel for understanding and encouragement in growing in the faith. After all the praying, reading, listening and studying through the last years, His voice continually utters John 17:3, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” (NASB)
